Pali 'Vessavana', Sanskrit 'Vaishravana'; also widely known by his other name, Kubera.
Vessavana is one of the Four Great Kings who guard the cardinal directions in Buddhist cosmology, and rules over the yakshas as the keeper of the earth's treasures.
