A Basavanna vachana: the devotee's body and speech become living scripture, yet even that is less than the dust from the feet of fellow devotees (sharanas).
In this vachana Basavanna asks to be counted among Lord Kudalasangamadeva's own household, in humility rather than as a stranger.
