Where Basavanna Attained Aikya
A Basavanna vachana: the devotee's body and speech become living scripture, yet even that is less than the dust from the feet of fellow devotees (sharanas).
In this vachana Basavanna asks to be counted among Lord Kudalasangamadeva's own household, in humility rather than as a stranger.
A short vachana by the 12th-century saint Basavanna listing seven ethical prohibitions that make up inner and outer purity and please Koodalasangama Deva.
Basavanna's vachana 'Kayakave Kailasa' declares that honest, selfless labor done with a pure heart is itself the realization of the Divine abode.
Basavanna's famed vachana: the rich build temples, the poor devotee offers his body as the shrine; the standing temple perishes, the living Jangama does not.
