হিমালয়ৰ পৰা বৈ অহা অলকানন্দা নদীয়ে পাঁচটা পৱিত্ৰ সংগমৰ মাজেৰে মা গংগাৰ ৰূপ ধাৰণ কৰে। পঞ্চ প্ৰয়াগত পৱিত্ৰ স্নান কৰিলে পৰম মুক্তি লাভ হয়।
