ज्ञातव्य-विशेषः
The Dwarakadhish Jagat Mandir, on the shore at Dwaraka, is crowned by a great flag that is changed several times each day and seen from afar by pilgrims.
At Dakor, tradition holds that the Lord came from Dwaraka in the twelfth century to dwell with His aged devotee Bodana, and the Ranchhodraiji temple that stands today dates from the eighteenth century.
Flattened rice is offered at Bet Dwaraka in remembrance of the gift of Sudama to his friend Krishna, told in the Bhagavata Purana.
The image of Shrinathji at Nathdwara came to Mewar from Braj in the seventeenth century; tradition says the chariot carrying it halted at Sihad, and the Lord has dwelt there since.
The Dwarkadhish Temple at Kankroli stands on the southern shore of Rajsamand Lake and is counted as the third seat of the Pushtimarga.
